Travel Resources

Over my time in the travel world, there have been a few resources that have changed the way I do things. These resources make full-time travel cheaper, easier, and less stressful (and even a little bit changes a lot)!

These resources have provided me with amazing accommodation, navigation, transportation, rentals, and much more. Below that are all my favorite travel products that have helped me see the world.

Travel Itinerary Planning With Lou

Are you thinking about a dream trip but don’t have the time, resources or experience to plan it yourself? My travel expertise and knowledge have helped me plan amazing trips for myself and save thousands of dollars, and I can help you to!

Resource #1

Booking.com is my #1 pick for any accommodation bookings. It’s usually the cheapest, especially with its ‘Genius’ program which gives you bigger discounts the more times you book.

Resource #2

Airalo is my pick for E-SIMs and SIM cards. Buying an E-sim will make the first few days of your trip much easier (though I recommend local SIMs if you’re in a country for over a week).

Resource #3

Get Your Guide is the way to go if you want to book a tour or experience. With pretty much everything under the sun, on Get Your Guide you’re guaranteed to find what you’re looking for!

Resource #4

Discover Cars is where I go whenever I need to rent a car. From road-tripping Patagonia to van-life in Australia. Discover Cars has always been my go-to for car rentals.

Resource #5

When it comes to transport in Asia, 12Go is the best. I used it to book all of my boat transfers between islands in Indonesia and my trip would have been so much more complicated without it.
